The Career Guidance Department at the Training and Career Guidance Center, in collaboration with Dr. Hani Al-Balushi (Lecturer at the Preparatory Studies Center), organized a lecture on LinkedIn, one of the largest professional social networks in the world, on Tuesday, October 22, 2024. The lecture aimed to highlight the importance of LinkedIn in building professional relationships, developing skills, and searching for job opportunities, targeting students from all levels of the university. The event was well attended, with approximately 50 students in addition to a number of external attendees who were keen to join after seeing the announcement due to the significance of the topic. The lecture covered several key points, including providing extensive opportunities for career development, establishing a distinguished professional presence, networking with experts in various fields, joining specialized groups, acquiring skills and knowledge through online platforms, searching for job and training opportunities, and enhancing personal branding, which positively impacts increasing employment prospects and advancing career paths.
