PSC completes Digital Transformation Course

 

The Preparatory Studies Center (PSC) at UTAS- Shinas concluded its Digital Transformation Course-Phase 2, which ran from September 1 to October 10, 2024. This comprehensive training program aimed to enhance educators' digital teaching skills through a series of engaging sessions. The course kicked off with training on Viva Engage and MS Teams, led by Mr. Ossama M. Sayed. Participants gained valuable insights into utilizing these platforms effectively for communication and collaboration. Following this, Ms. Safiya Al-Makhmari introduced attendees to Curipod and Wardwall, innovative tools designed to boost interactive learning experiences. In the latter part of the program, Dr. Hany Abbas Al-Balushi, alongside Mr. Ossama M. Sayed, provided in-depth training on MS Planner and OneDrive. These sessions focused on streamlining project management and enhancing file sharing capabilities, crucial for today's digital classroom environments. Feedback from attendees has been overwhelmingly positive, with many highlighting the significant improvement in their digital teaching skills. The PSC remains committed to upholding high teaching standards and embracing the latest digital tools to foster an enriched learning environment.
