PSC lecturer conducts workshop on Quizizz

Preparatory Studies Center (PSC) lecturer Ms. Safiya Rashid Sabeeh Al Makhmari conducted a workshop entitled ‘Game On! Supercharge Learning with Quizizz’ on 4th April 2024, at F-035, PSC Building. The workshop aimed to introduce educators to the educational platform Quizizz and to demonstrate how gamification can enhance student engagement and learning outcomes. It provided participants with hands-on experience in creating, customizing, and deploying quizzes using Quizizz. Participants learned how gamification elements such as points, timers, and leaderboards can motivate students to actively participate in learning activities. Quizizz also allows educators to customize quizzes to suit individual student needs, providing personalized learning experiences. Educators discovered the importance of leveraging Quizizz's analytics tools to track student progress, identify areas for improvement, and adapt teaching strategies accordingly. The workshop proved to be a valuable opportunity for educators to explore innovative teaching strategies and discover the potential of gamification in enhancing student engagement and learning outcomes. By empowering educators with the knowledge and skills to effectively leverage Quizizz, the workshop aimed to contribute to the ongoing efforts to create dynamic and engaging learning environments. PSC’s Staff Support Development Team (SPDT) under Staff Support Committee (SSC) organized the said event.
