Academic Integrity: "Key emphasis on understanding different forms of Academic dishonesty"

The Examination Committee, DEBA UTAS organized an informative session on Academic Integrity for Diploma level students on 19th November,2025 emphasizing on the importance of recognizing and avoiding different forms of academic dishonesty practices. The session featured an expert speaker Mr.Khamis Said Khamis Al Masoudi, Head Legal Department and Disciplinary Committee Member, UTAS Shinas, who shared key insights on ethical academic conduct and common forms of violations which need to be avoided with the prime objective of upholding academic integrity which is core pillar for success of academic journey. A notable highlight of the event was the active participation of students. Many raised thoughtful questions seeking clarification and trying to gather in-depth information and knowledge on the topic. Dr. Geeta Thakur, Exam coordinator concluded the discussion by extending gratitude and token of appreciation to the guest speaker and to all the students for their active involvement and participation.
