Workshop on Using Technology to Improve English Learning at UTAS Shinas

The Career Guidance and Training Centre, in partnership with the Preparatory Studies Center, organized a workshop titled "Discover the Power of Technology in Enhancing Learning". The session, led by Dr. Hani Al-Balushi, and took place on Sunday, December 1, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the multipurpose hall at the College of Engineering, University of Technology and Applied Sciences, Shinas.

The workshop was attended by many students and faculty members. It focused on key topics such as how students acquire English skills, the role of modern technology in learning, and the challenges students face. Dr. Al-Balushi also provided helpful tips and advice to improve the learning process.

During the workshop, Dr. Al-Balushi shared real-life stories of students using technology to learn English, including Nasser Al-Matrooshi and Ahmed Al-Maqbali, who spoke about their experiences. He highlighted how technology can make learning easier and more effective.

At the end of the session, participants had the chance to ask questions and share their ideas about how to use technology to improve learning. The workshop encouraged students to explore new ways to use digital tools in their education.
