Renewable Energy Training Workshop

The Department of Engineering and Technology of UTAS–Shinas conducted a specialized training workshop on Renewable Energy Systems as part of its commitment to community engagement and capacity building. The workshop aimed to enhance participants’ understanding of modern renewable energy technologies, including solar PV systems, wind energy, energy storage solutions, and hybrid system integration. The program included practical demonstrations, system design fundamentals, and economic assessment techniques for renewable energy projects.

- Total Duration: 6 hours
The training is conducted by Mr. Aaras Yahya Kraidi, Lecturer in the Department of Engineering and Technology at UTAS–Shinas, as well as Mr. Ali Sultan Ali Hussam Al Reesi and Mr. Abdulaziz Saif Salim Al Mamari, Assistant Trainers in the department. Participants in the program are 20 Teachers from the North Al Batinah Educational Directorate.
The event reflects UTAS–Shinas’s commitment to supporting national sustainability goals and promoting clean energy adoption through targeted technical training.
