PSC students join Spell Bee 2

Three students from the General Foundation Program (GFP) of the Preparatory Studies Center (PSC) joined the Spell Bee 2 competition held on 30th April 2024, at UTAS- Muscat Campus. Julanda Hilal Salim Al Balushi, a Level 4 student completed 4 out of 6 rounds successfully, while Hiyam Issa Saleh Al Balushi and Nour Abdullah Said Al Sadi, both from Level 3, completed 3 rounds out of 6. The Spell Bee Competition aimed to practice and improve students’ vocabulary, spellings, usage, pronunciation and to raise the profile of language learning with confidence and competitive spirit by creating a link between the college and local community. At the end of the competition, the students received a certificate of participation. Ms. Aisha Obaid Saleh A-Jabri and Ms. Preetha Anthony trained the said students and accompanied them during the competition.
