Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry Hosts Franchise Workshop for Entrepreneurs

Suhar, Oman – On February 12, 2025, the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized a workshop on franchising, aimed at entrepreneurs and students interested in understanding how to transform a business into a franchise model. The session, led by Fadil Alnasser,11 students attended from UTAS Shinas with Ms.Anwaar Alshibli. The workshop covered essential topics, including the basics of franchising, the legal and regulatory aspects, and practical steps for transitioning into a franchise. Participants learned about franchise agreements, intellectual property protection, and the importance of business standardization. The session also highlighted the benefits of franchising, such as business expansion with lower capital investment and accelerated brand growth, while addressing potential challenges like maintaining quality control.
