IT Department holds workshop on “Becoming Effective Facilitators of Learning”

The Information Technology (IT) Department conducted a workshop entitled “Becoming Effective Facilitators of Learning” on Tuesday, 30th April 2024 at A-218, Main Building, UTAS-Shinas Campus. Ms. Redjie Villar, IT faculty member, served as the resource speaker. The workshop aimed to equip participants with skills, knowledge, and techniques necessary to facilitate learning effectively within the classrooms. The participants were introduced to a range of techniques designed to engage the students, encourage participation, and foster collaboration. These techniques included active listening, questioning strategies, group discussions, and interactive activities. Twenty-Third (23) staff members from the IT, Math and Networking sections attended the workshop. IT Staff Professional Development Committee (SPDC) organized and facilitated the said workshop.
