IT Department spearheads “Hands-on training in Industrial IoT using Arduino” Workshop

 

The Information Technology (IT) Department with the initiative of the Community Engagement Committee (CEC) organized a 2-day workshop on " Hands on training in Industrial IoT using Arduino" held on 25th and 26th September 2024, at A-141 Lab, from 12 PM to 2 PM, Main Building, UTAS-Shinas Campus. IT lecturers Mr. Rajesh RK and Mr. Hari Raman served as resource speakers. The attendees had a hands-on and practical exercises with the activities, as well as implementation of IoT based solutions in some industrial problems like gas leak detection using MQ3 gas sensor, sound alert project using audio sensor, heart beat detection using heart rate sensor, and electronic voting using Touch sensor, etc. The series of sessions ended with Dr. Venkadeshan Ramalingam, Head of the Section- Networking, distributing the certificates to the participants.
