To prepare fresh graduates ready for job market

 

The Department of Supportive Requirements at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences (UTAS), Shinas, successfully organized a community titled “To prepare fresh graduates ready for job market” To enable students to confidently participate in and succeed across multiple stages of placement drives. The resource speakers in the program were Dr. Mahesh Garvandha, Dr. Devendra Kumar, Dr. Pandian Vaidhyanathan, Mr. Ahammedul Kabeer, and Dr. Madhu Sudhan Reddy Katta.

This training was conducted on January 13, and 14, 2026 in A-218. Planning and Coordination of detailed program were handled by Dr. Devendra kumar. The program was inaugurated by Head of Department Dr. Sulaiman Mohammed Al Risi, in presence of Head of Unit Mr. Deogracias Esteves Joaquin. The program was also supported by department QAC coordinator Dr. K. P. Santhosh Kumar, and Community Engagement Committee coordinator Ms. Hajar Ali Abdullah Ali AL-Ghufaili, and SPDSS Coordinator Mr. Khursheed Akhter Ansari.

​The content was highly important and directly relevant to students’ placement opportunities after graduation. The material and topics were well received by the students, who reported that several of the questions discussed had been asked in previous job interviews. All topics selected by the faculty were aligned with On-the-Job Training (OJT) requirements.
