Welcome to the Preparatory Studies Centre (PSC). It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the PSC at UTAS- Shinas. At the PSC, we aim to prepare students for successful future study and lifelong learning through an e-learning and digitally supported curriculum.
Through the GFP, we strengthen students’ language, study, mathematical and computing skills, providing a strong foundation for their future academic programmes. We also provide student advising, academic support and opportunities for personal and academic development, while also offering community service courses. As the GFP enters an important stage of quality audit, we see this as an opportunity to reflect, learn and continuously improve.
I am proud of our dedicated team and grateful for their continued contribution. Together, we remain committed to preparing students for their future, developing our people and creating a culture of collaboration, excellence and continuous improvement.
Dr. Ahmed Alsaadi
