  •  Identify, formulate and solve various Civil Engineering problems, with the help of research literature, principles of mathematics and engineering sciences.
  •  Conduct investigations of complex problems including analysis and interpretation of data in major Civil Engineering areas.
  •  Apply the knowledge of various streams of Civil Engineering like Structural, Environmental, Water resources, Geotechnical, Transportation Engineering for solving Engineering problems.

Allotment to the Mechanical Engineering specialisation is based on the CGPA scored by the student in First Year Diploma. Requirements to progress to Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering:

 

  •  Students must complete Advanced Diploma in Biomedical Engineering successfully with CGPA ≥ 2.75 on a scale of 4.
  •  IELTS band Score ≥ 5 or the FDL Mark should be ≥ 71.
  •  Lateral entry of students is governed by UTAS Bylaws.
