Graduating qualification of competence nationally and internationally in bachelor in Chemical Engineering to take an active role in the growth and expansion of the engineering sector with a solid foundation of scientific and strong technical knowledge, fully equipped with problem-solving, teamwork, communication skills and able to extend their post graduate education.

 

 

The objectives of the program are to:

 

  •  Provide a systematic, theory-based understanding of the science and mathematics, international standards in ethical and environmental issues and engineering basis applicable to the Chemical Engineering practices.
  •  Promote lifelong learning.
  •  Develop an understanding of awareness of professional and sustainable development in the economic and social context and create awareness of the need for the knowledge of ethics, safety, environmental impacts and sustainability.
  •  Develop graduates' skills for effective practices and communication as individuals and as team players.
  •  Promote research based practices and critical thinking in Chemical Engineering problem solving.
  •  Develop graduates with entrepreneurial skills, self-motivation, take the lead in their workplaces and contribute effectively to the development of the firm and the society.

 

Graduate of Bachelor in Chemical Engineering are able to:

 

  •  Demonstrate understanding of basic knowledge of mathematics and science to Chemical Engineering principles and professional practice.
  •  Apply engineering skills and make use of technical and modern tools in Chemical Engineering applications to identify, evaluate and solve related problems and manage industry-related tasks.
  •  Demonstrate capability to communicate professionally and effectively.
  •  Demonstrate self-motivation and lifelong learning skills and use highly specialised entrepreneurial skills.
  •  Demonstrate the ability to act professionally and ethically in the workplace.
  •  Undertake innovative design, research solutions, and experiments to collect and analyse data that can lead to a solution to engineering tasks.
  •  Demonstrate the capability of managing projects in an ethical, economic and safe manner that takes into account environmental, social and sustainable constraints.
