Welcome to the Preparatory Studies Center (PSC) at UTAS!
Experience a new level of academic excellence, where our intensive preparatory programs are a fundamental part of all 11 UTAS branches throughout Oman. 
At the PSC, each center comprises three vital units: English Language, Curriculum and Assessment, Math and Computing Skills, and General Requirements. These dynamic centers provide a solid foundation for incoming students, ensuring they begin their academic journey well-prepared for their pursuits at UTAS.
New students begin their journey at UTAS with the General Foundation Program (GFP before enrolling in the specializations offered by the branches of UTAS. This intensive program focuses on three crucial subjects: English language, Mathematics, and Computing Skills.

The General Foundation Program (GFP) focuses on three crucial subjects as shown below:

• • The General Study Skills (GSS) component is embedded within these three components.
• • Each semester, foundation students must register for and successfully complete the required components to progress to the next level or complete the program.
