The main goal of the program is to educate students about the marketing profession in a 2-year study plan.

 

The Program in the first year is designed to familiarize the students with principles and core concepts relevant to management, accounting, and marketing as well as leverage their IT, English, Mathematics, and Communication Skills.

 

In the second year, marketing specialized students undergo practical and theoretical learning experiences introduced in selected modules to develop Marketing Competencies designed to help marketers meet the increasing demands that are expected of them at every stage in their career.

 

 

This program will enable students to:

 

  •  Understand and apply basic techniques in developing marketing plans and strategies.
  •  Understand the role and function of the marketing mix.
  •  Differentiate between the marketing of services and the marketing of industrial products.
  •  Learn and apply various tools for advertising and promotion.
  •  Understand the impact of environmental changes and consumer characteristics and trends on the development of the marketing strategies.
  •  Study various types of establishments and suitable marketing strategies to fit organizational goals.

 

On completion of the program, the student should be able to:

 

  •  Learn about the Marketing mix and understand its role when developing marketing strategies.
  •  Understand core marketing concepts including product life cycle PLC, positioning, segmentation, target market, intangible and tangible goods, consumer behaviours, etc.
  •  Discuss types of consumers and segmentation strategies applicable for the different target market.
  •  Plan, Select, and Apply various advertising and promotional tools and measure their return and impacts.
  •  Develop analytical skills to understand the power of market forces and the impact of behavioural changes.
  •  Apply digital fundamentals in marketing using the latest technology and social media platforms.
