The program introduces students to the fundamentals of retail and sales management, including retail decision-making, procurement and merchandise planning, and financial planning. The program’s modules and structure help students develop essential analytical, reasoning, and communication skills.

 

At this level, the students will be introduced to the significance of customer relation management and innovation in marketing.

 

In addition, the program advance graduate competency in digital marketing and strategic decisions to step into professional marketing roles as Assistant or Shift Managers, Territory Managers, Sales Managers, Merchandising Managers, and District Managers.

 

 

This program will enable students to:

 

  •  Apply essential digital marketing strategies to sales and retail management.
  •  Mange sales plans, teams, and territories to maximize effectiveness and efficiency.
  •  Develop competencies required to direct retailing system and take decisions that impacts retail business.

On completion of the program, the student should be able to:

 

  •  Estimate sales potential and forecast sales, with adequate knowledge in manning territories, selecting training, motivating, supervising, and compensating the sales force.
  •  Manage marketing resources and define appropriate budgets for marketing activities.
  •  Oversee sales representatives and set sales goals for their organization.
  •  Apply Lean and Agile methodologies for effective management, cost reduction, and enhancement of customer satisfaction along the channel of distribution.
  •  Outline the steps of sales retail strategy planning to build a sustainable competitive advantage.
