Mobile clans and mobile groups at the UTAS-Sur organize a scouting and guidance workshop entitled: “Future Skills”
The Scout and Guidance Movement in the world in general and in the Sultanate of Oman in particular aims to spread the spirit of loyalty and redemption to the homeland among young men and women, to raise them with a good patriotic upbringing, to highlight the spirit of one body and cooperation, the ability to bear responsibility and self-reliance, to consolidate the values of cooperation, honesty and sincerity in work, to strengthen the sense of patriotism and to preserve On the gains of this dear country and reviving the spirit of volunteer work through many public service programs.
In this regard, the Jawawala and Jawwala clan of the University of Technology and Applied Sciences in Sur held a various scouting and guiding workshop under the title: “Future Skills,” with the aim of introducing the history of the scouting and guiding movement and its importance, in addition to discussing the clan’s plans and distributing tasks to the members.
The workshop activities began with a welcome speech by the leader of the tribe, Hanan bint Nasib Al-Ghailaniyya, welcoming and accepting the new rangers and rangers affiliated with the Scout and Guidance Movement, who have joined this semester. The Scout handkerchief was also handed over to the rangers, and the leader spoke in a speech in which she expressed the role of the rangers and rangers and the importance of their work to develop The community. During this workshop, the leader of each Rahat was identified and the Rahat of the clan were named.
It is worth noting that these workshops come within the plan of the university’s rangers and rangers clan, to empower them and provide them with many scouting and guiding skills and ways to practice them in their correct traditions, and to hone their talents and advance their creativity.
