The University of Technology and Applied Sciences – Sur has three departments: The Information Technology Department, Mass Communication, and Applied Biotechnology. The Information Technology Department offers Diploma, Advanced Diploma and bachelor degree in Networking and Information Security (Cyber Security). The Mass Communication Department offers a bachelor degree in Public Relations and Digital Media.
The Applied Biotechnology offers bachelor degree in Marine, Food and Agriculture, and Environmental majors. The academic departments in UTAS–Sur work together with students and industry to improve the quality of education and engage with the enterprises and community. Mass Communication and Applied Biotechnology consists of a collection of a variety of expertise and professional educators from Omani and international staff. This enables our graduates to comprehend deep knowledge and experiences delivered by different approaches to education. Our graduates contribute to different public and private sectors.
