The University of Technology and Applied Sciences in Sur signs a memorandum of cooperation with Namaa Water Services
As part of the efforts made to strengthen the strategic partnership in the fields of scientific research, innovation and training, the University of Technology and Applied Sciences in Sur and Namaa for Water Services signed today a memorandum of cooperation in the fields of training and scientific research.
The agreement was signed by the University of Technology and Applied Sciences in Sur, Dr. Rashid bin Nasser Al-Matani, Assistant to the President of the University in Sur, while it was signed by Mr. Qais bin Saud Al-Zakwani, CEO of the company, on behalf of Nama Water Services, in the company’s main building.
The memorandum that was signed stipulated deepening the opportunities for integration between the two institutions by supporting student research and training for students of the University of Technology and Applied Sciences in Tire, which is hoped to contribute to enhancing the skills and capabilities of students to embody the theoretical and academic aspects into a practical reality. The agreement also included the exchange of experiences and studies. Industrial innovation programs in water and sanitation laboratories, enhancing scientific research and cooperation between the two sides in research projects and studies that serve society.
