The National University of Science and Technology (NUST) hosted a celebration of World Pharmacist Day on October 1, 2024. The Dean of the Pharmacy College, Dr. Khalid Al-Baluchi, extended an invitation to the Pharmacy department at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences (UTAS) to participate. The event featured student exhibitions on various pharmacy-related topics, including the history of pharmacy, herbal remedies, cardiovascular health, and brain health. In addition, there was a poster competition and a student competition involving teams from NUST, UTAS, and Nizwa University. The UTAS team emerged victorious in the competition, securing first place among the participating teams. Additionally, two UTAS teams claimed the top spots in the exhibition competition, securing first and second place for their outstanding displays.
