Welcome to the Office of the Deputy of the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Electronic Systems and Student Services at Muscat Branch. As the DAVC-ESSS, our mission is to enhance the educational experience by harnessing the power of technology and providing comprehensive support to our staff and students. Our duty includes overseeing and managing the electronic systems and student services at our college. Our role is to ensure that students have access to efficient and effective electronic systems that support their academic journey and enhance their overall college experience. We work closely with various departments and stakeholders to develop and implement strategies for improving electronic systems, such as online learning platforms, student information systems, and digital communication tools. We strive to create a seamless digital network that empowers students throughout their academic journey. From advanced online learning platforms to streamlined administrative processes, we are committed to leveraging cutting-edge electronic systems to optimize efficiency and facilitate student success.
Our responsibilities also include overseeing various areas of Student Services, such as student admission, registration, training, counseling, and student activities. We collaborate with other Deputies, Heads of Departments and Heads of Units to ensure efficient and collaborative practices that meet the diverse needs of our student. With a focus on fostering a positive and inclusive campus environment, we serve as an advocate for student concerns and work towards promoting positive institutional change. We are also dedicated to provide comprehensive support and to enhance the overall student experience at our branch. With a strong commitment to student success, we work closely with the Students’ Council to develop and implement strategic initiatives that promote academic achievement, personal growth, and student engagement.
