Financial Literacy Program

In collaboration with the Business Studies department, Bank Nizwa conducted a three-day Financial Literacy Program (IFKS). Ms. Reem and forty-five students were invited to join a workshop on Islamic finance and banking in the branch with a tour of the functionality of the digital branch and it was an eye-opening experience!
The program was designed to raise awareness about Islamic Finance concept among the students and provide them with a unique banking experience. It helped eliminate misconceptions about Islamic finance by providing students with a better understanding of its principles and practices. Students gained insight into how Islamic financial institutions operate and how they can benefit from them in their daily lives.
In this program, participants discussed the concept of Islamic finance, as well as the main products and services offered by Islamic banks, as well as the differences between Islamic and conventional banks.
