Business Studies Department - Talent Management Students Connecting to the Field

Twenty-three students who were enrolled in the Talent Management Course actively participated in a field visit to gain practical exposure to the field. The field visit provided students with a comprehensive overview of talent management strategies, including talent acquisition, learning and development, performance management, compensation, and succession planning.
The objectives of the field visit were to Provide students with the opportunity to apply the theoretical concepts learned in the classroom to real-world scenarios. Help students develop a deeper understanding of the talent management function and its role in organizational success. Network with professionals in the field of talent management.
Students gained valuable insights into the following areas of talent management The importance of talent management in achieving organizational goals. The different approaches to talent acquisition, learning and development, performance management, compensation, and succession planning. The challenges and opportunities of talent management in today's business environment.
Students were overwhelmingly positive about their experience on the field visit. They appreciated the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and to network with other students and industry leaders.
