The section offers three specializations: Electrical Power Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, and Computer Engineering. These programs are available at Diploma, Advanced Diploma, and Bachelor of Technology (BTech) levels, aligning with both academic and industry requirements to prepare students for successful careers in engineering.
In line with the college’s vision, mission, and goals, the section is committed to delivering high-quality education and producing skilled engineers for Oman. State-of-the-art laboratories, such as the High Voltage Lab, PLC Lab, and Power Systems Lab, equip students with the practical experience needed to meet modern industry demands. Additionally, the section prides itself on active involvement in research and development, with students and faculty consistently winning national and international competitions, as well as securing funding for innovative projects from The Research Council (TRC).
The Electrical and Electronic Engineering Section maintains strong ties with industry through industrial visits, on-the-job training, and other professional development activities, ensuring that students remain closely connected to real-world applications and advancements in technology.
