The Department of Engineering & Technology at UTAS-Ibri is one of the eight Engineering & Technology Departments which are spread across different branches of UTAS in the Sultanate of Oman.

The Department of Engineering & Technology at UTAS - Ibri is committed to achieve the University’s Vision and Mission and to contribute to the sustainable development processes of the nation by fulfilling the market demands for highly qualified and skilled graduates. This can be achieved by competent teaching, learning, and training, putting great emphasis on practical work in laboratories and workshops through experiments, exercises, and projects. In addition, Health and Safety Guidelines, and Communication Skills are also taken into consideration, to raise the students’ awareness in health, safety, and environmental issues affecting individuals at the workplace and the surrounding community, at large.
