The University of Technology and Applied Sciences-Ibri includes three academic departments: the Department of Engineering and Technology, the Department of Economics and Business Administration, and the Department of Information Technology. This branch also includes a centre for preparatory studies (the English language unit, the mathematics unit, and the general requirements unit) and a community service centre.
The academic affairs sector at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences-Ibri works to achieve the University’s vision, mission, and goals related to providing an attractive and stimulating academic environment, providing students with a teaching experience at the highest level, and providing high-quality resources and facilities. Its goal is to provide innovative teaching services, develop curricula and study programs, create academic programs, and support and encourage university activities. Providing students with all the skills and knowledge they will need in the labor market. The University is also working to develop its plans and programs according to the national developments and priorities of Oman Vision 2040 and the requirements of the labor market; this include training, skills development, and innovation.
May Allah grant us all success to achieve all that we aspire to in terms of elevation and glory for the university and for the generous nation under the wise leadership of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, may Allah protect and preserve him.
