UTAS–Nizwa Participated in ISACA Muscat Chapter’s SheLeadsTech 2025 event on Oct 27th, 2025

 

The ISACA Muscat Chapter’s SheLeadsTech 2025 event was successfully held on October 27th, 2025, at the CBFS Hall, Muscat, celebrating and empowering women in technology while highlighting ISACA’s global commitment to advancing gender diversity and leadership within the IS and IT professions.

The evening featured an insightful panel discussion on “Career Growth and Leadership”, moderated by Dr. Divyajyothi, Director of Programs at the ISACA Muscat Chapter. The distinguished panel brought together accomplished women leaders who shared their journeys, strategies, and perspectives on professional growth and leadership in the tech industry. The esteemed panelists included Dr. Fatin Al Zadjali, Head of Learning and Development at Bank Dhofar; Ms. Rasha Al Abdali, Senior Manager of Corporate Governance at Insight; Dr. Khoula Ali Saleh Al Sadi, Head of the Cybersecurity and Networks Unit at UTAS – Al Mussanah; Dr. Maha Said Khalfan Al Anqoudi, Head of the Department of Computer Science and Information at UTAS – Nizwa; and Ms. Ashwini Sawrikar, Chief Operating Officer at Artha Bharat Investment Managers and Co-Founder & CEO of DigiTark Software Services, Dubai. The discussion centered on themes such as career advancement, mentorship, confidence
building, and overcoming barriers in the workplace, offering valuable inspiration to aspiring women professionals. The event also had two technical sessions followed by a networking session that fostered meaningful connections and collaboration among participants. Overall, SheLeadsTech 2025 was a resounding success, reaffirming ISACA Muscat Chapter’s dedication to empowering women leaders and promoting a more inclusive, diverse, and equitable technology community in Oman.
