UTAS–Nizwa ISG Student Wins Quiz Competition Organized by ISACA Muscat Chapter

 


ISACA is a global professional association and learning organization with 185,000 members who work in digital trust fields such as information security, governance, assurance, risk, privacy and quality. ISACA officially recognizes UTAS-NIZWA ISG and its purpose is student empowerment, to raise awareness of ISACA, and to expand recognition of the IT Audit and Assurance, Security and IT Governance disciplines by extending education beyond the classroom on standards, practices and certification.

On the occasion of ISACA Community Day the Chapter hosted an exciting Quiz Competition on Basics of Cybersecurity and Best Practices” for ISACA Muscat Chapter Members and ISG Students on 4th October 2025 from 12noon to 1pm GST in online mode. The quiz consisted of 25 multiple-choice questions focused on core cybersecurity principles and best practices. Participants were awarded points based on both accuracy and response speed, which made the competition highly engaging and dynamic. The Community Day Quiz Competition winner is 26S193 Albaljaa Hamed Abdullah Al Abri 🏆 — scoring an impressive 14,672 points! 👏 The student winner from UTAS–Nizwa is suitably awarded in collaboration with ISACA Muscat Chapter under the sponsorship of College of Banking and Financial Studies.
