Understanding the Success Plan: A Guide to Staff

The PDC team of the Engineering Department, UTAS-Nizwa, organized a session on "Understanding the Success Plan: A Guide to Staff" on March 5, 2025. The session began with an introductory speech by Dr. Fakrudeen, the engineering department's PDC Team Coordinator. Mr. Raghavendar Inguva, Lecturer/Engineering/UTAS-Nizwa, conducted the training session, by discussing over the recently created success plan sheet with the staff members of engineering department.
During the session, Mr. Raghavendar provided insights into the background of the sheet, its setup, and its implementation to support students under academic probation. An interactive discussion at the end of the session gave attendees a chance to ask questions and share their opinions. Dr. Wisam Fahmi Ibrahim Al-Azzo, HoD/Engineering, actively engaged with the staff, commended the initiative, and encouraged faculty members to provide feedback on the proposed Success Plan. Several staff members shared their valuable insights, contributing to the ongoing improvement of the initiative.

The session proved to be a productive platform for faculty members to enhance their understanding of the Success Plan and its role in student academic support.
