Training session on MOHERI Block Funding

The Research Consultancy Department of UTAS - Nizwa successfully organized a training session on "MOHERI Block Funding" at Adam Hall Nizwa on March 4th 2025.This session introduced Diploma and Advanced Diploma students to Student Research Funding (URG) and provided essential guidance on securing financial support for their research projects.

The session was led by Dr. Wisam Fahmi Ibrahim Al-Azzo, Head of the Engineering Department, UTAS-Nizwa, who shared valuable insights on the importance of research funding, available funding opportunities, and strategies for successfully applying for research grants. The workshop aimed to empower students with the necessary knowledge to enhance their research journey with proper financial backing.

Dr. Wisam emphasized the significance of student engagement in meaningful research and encouraged students to make the most of these funding opportunities. He also expressed gratitude to faculty members and project advisors for their support in making the training session a success.
