Engineering Student’s Industrial Visit to Gulf Energy

The University of Technical and Applied Sciences- Nizwa organized a visit on 27/02/2025 to Gulf Energy Company in Taimsa, Nizwa. The purpose of the visit is to get information and more knowledge about the production enhancement equipment’s (Well stimulation equipment) working principle how it works in the field to the students of Oil and Gas which is the part of outcome coverage. The number of students who went to visit the company were 25 students along with 1 Faculty member (Dr. Mohammed Ismail Iqbal, Faculty of Oil and Gas).

The day of the visit Dr. Mohammad Ismail Iqbal instructed student to gather in mechanical workshop and distributed all necessary PPE items then induction workshop to the students and alerted them to follow the rules and regulations during that students must adhere during the tour and left to company at 08:00 AM.

Students overall knowledge of the oil and gas sector was improved by the enlightening experience of the field trip to the oil field. The students found the visit beneficial. Lastly, students expressed their gratitude to organizers and authorities who gave permission to make this visit happen and Around 11:00 AM the visit concluded.
