Third Public Health Awareness Event

The Preparatory Studies Center (PSC) conducted the Third Public Health Awareness Event in collaboration with the Pharmacy Department. The event, which served as a community service, was held at Baushar Polyclinic on November 10th, 2025. The event aimed at raising the community awareness about key public health issues and promoting healthy practices within the community.

The collaborative event was organized by Dr. Faiza Al-Hasani, the ‘English for Pharmacy Course’ lecturer and Ph. Sumaiya Al-Zaabi, Senior Lecturer-Pharmacy Practice. Sixteen pharmacy students presented some common health issues that are widely spread among the society such as diabetes, asthma, hypertension, thyroid disorder, depression and epilepsy. The informative presentations were prepared and delivered by the 16 pharmacy students. Many visiting patients and Baushar Polyclinic staff joined to listen. The presenters received positive and encouraging feedback from the audience.
