Guest Lecture on Persian Carpet Weaving

As part of the Textile course, students attended a special session delivered by a guest lecturer featuring a live demonstration of traditional Persian carpet weaving and knotting techniques. Using a weaving loom, the guest lecturer demonstrated professional hand movements and the weaving sequence involved in creating Persian carpets, allowing students to closely observe the detailed process.

The session was followed by a hands-on activity where students had the opportunity to practice the knot weaving method on the loom under the lecturer’s guidance. This interactive experience provided valuable insight into traditional craftsmanship and enriched students’ learning within the textile course.
