Filed Trip to Central Bank: Student from Business Studies Department participated in workshop titled "Financial Inclusion as Part of Global Money Week”

The Central Bank of Oman organized a series of workshops on financial inclusion as a part of Global Money Week to promote financial literacy and education in the community. Bank Nizwa collaborated with Business Studies Department to invite fifty students to a workshop conducted by experts from the Central Bank of Oman, who shared their knowledge and experience on various related financial inclusion. Practical examples and case studies were applied to help the students understand the concepts better.
The workshop focused on educating the students on how to utilize their financial resources wisely, the best ways for saving and investing and making informed financial decisions. In the first part of the workshop, the student learnt about budgeting, managing debt, and avoiding financial pitfalls. They also learnt about the importance of financial planning and how it can help them achieve their financial goals.
The second part of the workshop focused on the best ways for saving and investing. The participants learnt about the several types of savings and investment products available in the market, the risks and returns associated with them, and how to choose the right product.
