Field Trip to The Authority of SME’s

On Wednesday morning, 22 March 2023 students from business studies department enrolled in Entrepreneur course embarked on a field trip to The Authority of SME’s. with main objective of learning the practical aspects, connecting and reflecting on the theorical parts with applications.

Upon their arrival to the Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SME) Development Authority they welcome the student and introduced them to the role of SME’s in Sultanate of Oman and the emphases of government on sustaining the SMSs Sector. The visit aimed to introduce students to business accelerators and incubators, and expose them to practical experiences in the field. Through the visit, students were able to learn from the experiences of professionals and experts in the field of business, helping them to connect theoretical knowledge with real-life applications. Overall, this visit provided an invaluable opportunity for students to develop their understanding of business and entrepreneurship and will undoubtedly impact positively on their future careers.

The experience was highly rewarding, and the students appreciated the opportunity to gain practical experience and exposure to different business strategies and opportunity to explore the accelerators and incubators. Overall, the tour was a resounding success, and the experts continues to encourage students to learn about entrepreneurship and business management through practical experiences.
