Enhancing Students’ Readiness for the Job Market

As part of its continuous activities for the academic year 2024-2025, the Training and Career Guidance Center at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences organized two exceptional workshops aimed at enhancing students’ readiness for the job market.

A representative from BP Oil Company Mr. Ali Al Barwani, conducted a workshop titled “Fundamentals of CV Writing and Job Interviews”, which focused on the importance of creating a professional resume that meets employers’ expectations, as well as mastering the skills required to excel in job interviews.

Additionally, Ms. Israa Al-Ajmi, Head of the Innovation and Technology Transfer Department, delivered a workshop on “Upskilling Students and Professional Certifications”, highlighting the significance of continuous skill development and obtaining globally recognized certifications to boost graduates’ competitiveness in the job market.

These workshops are part of the center’s ongoing efforts to support students and equip them with essential skills for building their professional futures.
