“Down Syndrome Open Day"

The University of Technology and Applied Sciences (UTAS), Muscat, organized “Down Syndrome Open Day” at Al Qurum Natural Park, in collaboration with the Oman Down Syndrome Association and with the support of SGS.

The event aimed to raise community awareness about Down syndrome, highlight the importance of integrating individuals with the condition into society, and empower them to interact with their peers in an inclusive and supportive environment.

The event witnessed a remarkable turnout, with over 300 visitors from various segments of society participating in a range of recreational and educational activities designed to promote the values of acceptance and inclusion.
