Business Studies Department - Organized a Workshop on "One Factor Analysis (CFA)”

The CEBA Muscat branch organized a workshop on “One Factor Analysis (CFA)”. This workshop was presented by Dr S. Porkodi, Senior Lecturer, CEBA Muscat. The main theme of this workshop is to encourage staff to use advanced statistical methods in research. The Venue, Date and Time of the workshop is on the 9th of November 2023 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM in BS26.

Dr Porkodi started the session with the brief introduction on One-Factor Analysis in Confirmatory Factor Analysis. The workshop aimed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the principles and applications of CFA. This session focuses on the key concepts and the methodologies essential for conducting CFA with a single latent factor.

Participants were engaged in practical exercises, applying the learned concepts using statistical software. This helps the participants to gain experience in specifying, estimating, and evaluating a one factor CFA model.

To conclude, Dr Porkodi presented the session in an effective way, this will help the participants, the applicability of the learned concepts in their respective research.
