Brain Squeezers

On October 22, 2024, the English Society at PSC organized the “Brain Squeezers” competition for Level 4 students of the General Foundation Program, aiming to develop their problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills. In this speaking competition, each participant was presented with a unique problem scenario, given two minutes to devise solutions, and then encouraged to present their ideas to an audience. The interactive format allowed students to challenge each other's solutions, fostering engaging exchanges and stimulating analytical thought.
The event was marked by creative solutions and an enthusiastic atmosphere. Sixteen students competed, with the top four highest-scoring participants being declared winners. The judging panel, comprised of Ms. Hilda, Mr. Ziyad, Mr. Reddeppa, and Ms. Neeraja, actively encouraged students to take part in such activities, emphasizing the value of essential skills like critical thinking and effective communication. Both students and lecturers warmly received the event, making it a memorable experience for all.
