Preparatory Studies Center - Project-Life in a Day

On Thursday, December 14, 2023, at the Preparatory Studies Center, Foundation students, under the guidance of Ms. Neveen, showcased their project on “Life in a Day.” It was an interesting project based on their reading classes, specifically Unit 1, ‘Life in a Day’. The preparation for the project started in the first two weeks of the semester when they discussed Unit 1 in their reading book, Life in a Day. In this unit, they read and discussed a day in the life of people from different walks of life, and they wondered about other people living in Oman and what their day looked like. To investigate, they met people from different fields, such as students from our college and students from a different university, family members, and friends who work in different places. During the presentation, they explained to the audience about their projects and screened a video of all the interviews they conducted. There was great appreciation for the students' work on the project from teachers and Ms. Fakhriya Al Rashdi, the section head.
