Strengthening Entrepreneurial Governance: Sparkpreneur Workshop with Omran Group

A second workshop, organized by the Partnership and Entrepreneurship Department in collaboration with Omran Group, was held on February 18 at Treat Café, Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre. This session was part of the second series of the Sparkpreneur Program, aimed at equipping student-led companies with essential knowledge on corporate governance and business ethics.
The workshop provided students with a comprehensive understanding of the national entrepreneurial landscape, covering key topics such as:
- Legal & Regulatory Compliance – Insights into Oman's legal frameworks, business laws, and regulations.
- Contract Management & Procurement – Best practices in handling contracts and procurement procedures.
- Business Ethics & Professional Integrity – The importance of ethical decision-making, honesty, and transparency in entrepreneurship.
- Entrepreneurial Self-Awareness & Leadership – Building resilience, self-awareness, and leadership skills for business success.
