The Company” Competition by Injaz Oman
As part of its ongoing efforts to promote entrepreneurship and innovation among students, the Partnership and Entrepreneurship Department organized an introductory workshop on “The Company” Competition, one of the flagship national programs led by Injaz Oman. The workshop aimed to familiarize students with the objectives, structure, and benefits of participating in the competition, which provides young innovators and aspiring entrepreneurs with the opportunity to transform their ideas into viable business ventures under expert mentorship and real-world guidance.
During the session, the Partnership and Entrepreneurship Department team introduced the various support services and resources available to participants throughout the program period — including mentorship, advisory sessions, training opportunities, and access to the university’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. These initiatives are designed to help students refine their ideas, build sustainable business models, and gain exposure to Oman’s growing innovation landscape
The session also featured a special presentation by Mr. Azzan Al Busaidi, Operations Manager at Injaz Oman, who provided valuable insights into the nature of the program, its role in empowering youth, and the importance of entrepreneurship as a driver of economic diversification and sustainable development in the Sultanate. He emphasized that the competition is not merely a challenge but a life-changing experience that encourages students to think critically, work collaboratively, and innovate responsibly.
By hosting this workshop, the university continues to affirm its commitment to nurturing entrepreneurial talent and supporting national initiatives that align with Oman Vision 2040, fostering a generation of capable leaders ready to shape the country’s digital and economic future.
