Invitation for Students and Staff to participate in Oman Urban Hackathon

The Hackathon is organized by Oman Think Urban and the European Union, and there will be valuable prizes.

The hackathon revolves around seven themes of urban planning for applicants to choose from. Participants will then develop their ideas toward the realization of Oman vision 2040 goals, Oman National Spatial Strategy (ONSS) objectives as the road map for the nation as well as the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The themes are as follows:
Climate change and urban sustainability, Waste management, Mobility, Energy, Water management, Community participation and public spaces, and Communities and culture as urban dimensions.
