Workshop on Interactive Teaching/Learning through H5P

A training session entitled " Workshop on Interactive Teaching/Learning through H5P was organised on February19, 2025, by the PDC Team of the Engineering Department of UTAS-Nizwa. The session began with a welcome address from Dr. Fakrudeen, the engineering department's PDC Team Coordinator. Dr. Kasimayan.T, a Senior Lecturer in the Engineering Department at UTAS-Nizwa (north campus), facilitated the training session. Dedicated faculty members from UTAS-Nizwa attended an enlightening workshop on Interactive Teaching/Learning through H5P.

H5P can be used effectively to prepare interactive content such as presentations, videos, and other multimedia, questions, quizzes, games, and more. The H5P activity enables H5P to be uploaded and added to the Moodle course pages. An H5P interactive video activity is demonstrated using the content bank in Moodle to include text, table, single-choice, multiple-choice, and drag-the-text questions in the video content. This workshop may help the course tutors to provide additional interaction during the lecture as well as to conduct surprise quiz activities.
The training program was highly informative and tailored to the requirements of all participants.
