Orientation on MOHERI Funding and Introduction to the RIMS Portal: Preparing Your Proposals for Block Funding

The Research and Consultancy Committee in coordination with the Professional Development Committee of UTAS- Nizwa conducted an orientation on MOHERI Funding and Introduction to the RIMS Portal: Preparing Your Proposals for Block Funding. It was conducted by Dr. Rolando Lontok who is a Senior Lecturer of UTAS Nizwa and has been with the University for the last 18 years. His professional qualifications are in the areas of computer engineering and information security. His research interests include educational technology, immersive multimedia, educational technology, information security, and quality assurance and enhancement in higher education. The orientation was an awareness seminar on the MOHERI Block Funding Program - RG, GRG, and URG. It is also an orientation to the TRC RIMS Portal and a refresher on how to write a proposal for the TRC.
