Flying into Tomorrow: The Evolving Role of Drones in Daily Life

On 26th November 2024 Engineering Department from University of Technology and Applied Sciences- Nizwa North campus has successfully conducted an online session on “Flying into Tomorrow: The Evolving Role of Drones in Daily Life” for the faculty at UTAS by Mr. Arun Director & CEO, Aviocian Technologies Pvt. Ltd

Dr. Mohammed Ismail Iqbal was moderator of the session. The session started with welcoming all the audience and opening remarks were given by Dr. K J Sabareesaan, HOS, Mechanical and Industrial section and introduction of speaker to audience was given by Dr. Shaista.

The speaker addressed the various area of drone technology right from conceptual design till manufacturing and execution of it. Also speaker explained about usage of drone in various engineering domains area like Mechanical, Electronics and Aerospace Further more speaker highlighted about the future of drone in the area of delivery, transportation, and current usage of drone in defence, research, automation, AI etc.,
Total 72 participants attended the session. After Q&A session, vote of thanks was given by Dr. Govinda Reddy and the overall the session was very informative and useful to the participants.
