Engineering student’s Industrial Visit to Sino Gulf Energy Enterprises LLC – Nizwa

As part of the Industrial Engineering course, our B.Tech Mechanical Engineering students visited Sino Gulf -Nizwa, a leading manufacturing company on May 1, 2025 to gain practical insights into industrial engineering and operations management. Two staff members and about 19 students have joined the industry visit.

At 10:00 AM, the group arrived at the company. The safety introduction in the manufacturing department and the significance of personal protective equipment (PPE) while working for the company kicked off the tour of the company's facilities. The students then took a brief tour of the manufacturing department. The students then proceeded visited the other SINO Gulf firm facilities, which include the machine shop, downhole tools, fishing, directional drilling, and the well control department. Students have the opportunity to examine each equipment's working mechanism and view real tools and equipment used in the field in each facility.

The students were taken back to the institution when the visit concluded at 12:30 PM. In regards to the visit, students gave excellent remarks. Our industrial visit to Sino Gulf was an enriching experience, providing us with practical insights into industrial operations and management. We would like to thank Sino Gulf's management and staff for their hospitality and cooperation during our visit.
