Innovation Department

The Innovation Department within the Centre contributes to preparing the University's Strategic Plan and follows up on the application of quality standards in its work, proposing their development. It prepares an annual working plan for the Section, follows up on its implementation, and submits reports on achievements. The Section ensures the implementation of intellectual property policies in various University divisions, verifies their effectiveness, and works on their development. It follows up on the development and funding plans of innovation programs in various University divisions. The Section provides mechanisms to market innovative projects and patents, finding incubators for these projects in industry and technology sectors. It contributes to building strategic partnerships with industry sectors to support the development of student efficiencies and young scientists. The Section develops performance indicators to raise the efficiency and competitiveness of research and innovation outputs, linking them with various business sectors. It proposes and implements professional development programs for its employees in coordination with competent entities and undertakes any other duties within its area of competence.
