Innovation and Technology Transfer Centre

The Innovation and Technology Transfer Centre is responsible for contributing to the preparation of the University's Strategic Plan. It prepares an annual working plan for the Centre, follows up on its implementation, and submits reports on achievements. The Centre ensures the application of quality standards in its divisions and proposes their development. It supervises the enforcement of regulations and policies related to intellectual property and technology transfer at the University. Additionally, the Centre oversees the development of innovation and technology transfer programs in coordination with competent entities and supervises related funding plans. It provides mechanisms to market innovative projects and patents, finding incubators for these projects in industry and technology sectors. The Centre builds strategic partnerships with industry sectors to support the development of student efficiencies and young scientists. It develops performance indicators to raise the efficiency and competitiveness of research and innovation outputs, linking them with various business sectors. The Centre prepares plans to involve the community in innovation and creativity, spreading awareness of the culture of innovation, intellectual property, and technology transfer. It proposes and implements professional development programs for its employees in coordination with competent entities and contributes to improving services provided.
